Lily Allen-Duenas is a 200hour certified yoga instructor who received her YTTC in 2016 from Kathmandu. She has taught Yoga in the USA, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and is now excited to begin teaching in the Philippines. Lily hails from the mountains of Northern California and is grateful to be off following her heart, exploring the world, and continuing to learn and teach all over Asia. She is also a certified Massage Therapist accredited by the Thailand Ministry of Education. And is also Reiki certified and Crystal Healing certified from Reiki School India. Sameera is a mother of two very amazing children and wife to a loving husband. Her family is her pride and she works hard towards making her household a highly fulfilling one.
Sameera always found a calling towards spirituality and its impact on human lives. She had a continual focus towards learning more about this and in those efforts she got certified as a Neuro Linguistic Programmer (NLP). She was able to apply learnings to her work and outside too. After having spent 15 years in corporate jobs being a trainer, counselor, managing large teams across India, Philippines and USA, Sameera has now dedicated herself to the cause of sharing her learning and experiences and at the same time help to those who need help. Apart from being a NLP practitioner Sameera is also a Level 2 Reiki healer, Tarot Reader and a Life coach. Her global work experience has further aid her quest for learning newer cultures and she is able to create highly customized programs for easier and effective adjustment to the various values and philosophies. She is currently pursuing Masters in Clinical Psychology and has been involved with kids and parents of kids with clinical disorders.
Intuitive Coaching is her strength. Apart from using the modalities individually, she believes in an approach of applying Life Coaching Tools, Reading & Understanding the Subconscious and Healing through Reiki, assisting people to improve communication, thought mechanisms, expressed behavior in both professional and personal realms. This approach has helped people be fully functional post-depression, improved effectiveness, significantly reduce most anxiety attacks and find acceptance in relationships in general. This coaching style remains highly personal and works best in a 1-on-1 environment.
Sameera has worked with communities associated with abused women, impoverished children and helped them overcome trauma. She is part of Renooji’s group and the Isha Philippines chapter.
A graduate of Master in Development Management (MDM) from Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Philippines in 1994. He worked in Africa for 12 years from 1979 to 1991. He was involved in disaster relief operation in Ethiopia and Eritrea in 1984 which was considered as one of the worst famine in history.
He worked for ABS-CBN Foundation in the Philippines for 20 years: 1992-2012. He carried out relief operation after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in Zambales and other typhoon affected areas in the Philippines. He established Eco-Village in Iba as a resettlement project for the victims of Mt. Pinatubo in 1993 with a vision of building a self-sufficient community.
He founded Bayan Microfinance in 1997 to give access to micro-credit for livelihood without collaterals to the poor people specially to the women. He organized Zambales Mango Farmers Development Cooperative which started Mango Festival in Zambales in 2004. As a board member of the Dairy Confederation of the Philippines (Dairycon), he organized a strategic planning workshop in Iba, 2006 to develop “A Road Map for National Daily Industry” in the Philippines.
He co-founded Shanti Ayurveda Center with Dr. Sharon Roy in 2013 and currently the Chairman & CEO of the company. He is also one of the founders of Ayurveda Association of Southeast Asia in 2014 and currently the Chairman of the Board. He founded Shanti Institute of Ayurveda in the year 2016 and currently the President & CEO of the Institute.
