Founder - YoGathering, Mahasanas, Yoga Sugbo, Mahasayaw

In 2006, he was trained in one commercial Yoga studio formed in the same year. Following the Rajadhiraj Yoga System, Jaya learned different methods and modalities in the asanas or Hatha Yoga disciplines with colleagues in the latter field and are recognized in the Yoga Sugbo Community, one he founded. Some of the methods to mention: Sivananda methods, Vinyasa Krama, Astanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa, Power, and most kinds of modalities in the "Hatha Yoga" World. Jaya saw both worlds meeting together to be very useful and is now living and sharing the principles of eastern approach and western advancement of his yogic discipline. Thus, he founded the movement art and therapy and dance modules, Mahasanas and Mahasayaw. Both are elemental to uplift cultural and spiritual aspects of the land and the world.

Being the founder of Yoga Sugbo, a non-profit and non-sectarian organization and a movement of people learning, doing and living Yoga in their lives in Sugbo (Cebu), Jaya also created YoGathering- Mind Evolution events to establish a venue where Yogis can gather and mindfully exchange good practices together. The aim of Yoga Sugbo is to provide as much service as possible to the people in the community most specially towards those in need. Jayendra also founded a movement of movement sciences and art which he named "Mahasanas" where he rightfully named and placed the yoga postures and a combination of movement science and fitness modalities and "Mahasayaw", the danceform/movement art with cultural heritage, modern adaptations and practical uses such as: art expression, movement dynamics, therapeutic approach and healing as well as part of a fitness approach(mahasayaw) in its rightful place rather than continuing the misnomer of using Yoga and letting it lose is sacracy and value.  Recently, Jayendra just finished his specialization in functional movement and additional artillery in his classes which is the Nirvana fitness franchise which will provide some variety of the classes he teaches.

Get to learn from Jayendra and have him as your guide, you can find him across different places in Sugbo (Cebu) where he feels the sincerity and authenticity of their purpose. Jaya is continuing his service works through Yoga Sugbo and events in YoGathering as well as deeply founding the Mahasanas and Mahasayaw Legacy.
