Yin Yoga is a relaxing and reflective practice. A series of passive postures, held for about 4 minutes each, stretches both the muscles and connective tissues of the fascia. The fascia shapes and holds the body together and is responsible for transporting liquids, nutrients and waste products, storing water and fat, and transmitting the power of the muscles.

Stress, excessive unilateral sports, active Yoga styles (Vinyasa, Ashtanga), or too little physical movement can harden the fascia causing it to stiffen and no longer perform correctly.

Yin Yoga helps to relieve the pains and tensions associated with the muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin Yoga also improves blood circulation and flexibility while strengthening balance and awareness. The postures stimulate the nervous system, activate and cleanse energy meridians, and gently support the movement of a free flowing life energy throughout the body – leading to greater inner peace, patience, and ability to let go.

Join us for 2 hours of Yin Yoga in Cebu every Tuesday at 6.30PM (190PHP) and feel like a new born after each practice :-)
